For anyone who doesn't know where Aber' is here's a map...

...but I think Lenny Henry described it best, when asked where it was he simple said "Far".
As you can guess it's pretty secluded but it has a character and warmth I haven't encountered anywhere else. Many people would hate the place but personally I love it.

	Everybody dressed in their best and ready to enjoy the May Ball. Believe me they didn't come back looking so smart and well polished.

LOVE SHACK
Everybody dressed in their brightest and ready to enjoy "Love Shack" night at the union. Believe me they came back looking just as bad. Only joking lads. Love shack as you may of guessed is a 70's night. I've no idea why Hugh (the guy wearing the suit in the middle) is in this picture. E-mail me if you have any theories.

MY 21ST BIRTHDAY
	Here's everyone in "Rumours", without a doubt the closest local I've ever had. My back door opened into its car park and from a sitting start I could be out of my living room and at the bar in under 10 seconds flat (in an emergency). Everyone likes dressing up for birthdays because they find it easier to pull.

BIRTHDAY TORTURE
	My birthday party continues in to the Cambrian so that I can be forced to drink a fowl cocktail containing £15 worth of alcohol. I don't know who started this nasty little birthday tradition, but I hope on their special day they were suitably punished.

DAVIES BRYAN 98 - 99
Davies Bryan is one of the Penbryn student halls of residence. I moved there in November after my first halls burned down three months into my first year. S%#t happens aye. In fact it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, the insurance more than covered my stuff and I made some good friends in the process.

THE FIRE

Picture the scene. November 3rd 1998, 3am, I've been in bed a couple of hours after crawling back from "vodka night" at the pub next door. I awake to the sound of the fire alarm. Assuming it's just another drill and that I'm going to be freezing my arse off on the sea front for half an hour while they call the role, I slowly get fully dressed. I soon realise it's not a drill when I open my door to see smoke, below are some pictures showing what the people outside got to see a couple of hours later.
